Carolinas Palliative Care and Hospice Group (CPCHG) is recruiting for a site based Medical Director to join their team in Charlotte, NC. This leadership position will have an office based in Charlotte but be expected to travel 25%-50% of the time to the Hospice agencies of Cabarrus and Union Counties. The position will be a 50% Administration and 50% Clinical role. Responsibilities will include:
Direct oversite of 6 physicians and 1 nurse practitioner serving our community hospice agencies.
Overall care and medical management of hospice patients
Provide medical leadership to the system-wide educational initiative of Primary Palliative Care: Your Care, Your Choice.
Guiding the development and implementation of medical policies, practices, and clinical programs system-wide.
Driving, supporting, and modeling a service-oriented culture focused on employee engagement, quality, patient safety, and service excellence.
Candidates must be board certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Previous Medical Director or Leadership experience and Hospice Medical Director certification preferred.
