Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Olympia, Washington – Providence St. Peter Hospital has a full-time opportunity for a nurse practitioner to join our interdisciplinary Palliative Care team in beautiful Olympia, on southern Puget Sound. Oncology and Palliative Care experience a plus, though not a requirement. New NPs will be considered if they have strong RN experience. The position provides clinical expertise within our southwest Washington Palliative Care services program to improve care for inpatient and ambulatory patients with serious and/or life-threatening illnesses. The position builds effective relationships with referring physicians to assure coordinated care and improve the culture of collaboration among specialists, primary care physicians, nurses and other health care providers. Also contributes to the development of palliative and end-of-life care and increasing awareness and understanding of Palliative Care services in our southwest Washington service area.
