We are looking for a highly skilled, experienced and caring professional to provide clinical support and supervision to program staff as well as our clinical teams in supported living programs for consumers with severe and persistent mental illness. This person will work closely with several rehabilitation teams to enhance the day-to-day quality of life for the residents in our programs by promoting their independence and integration into the community through the development of effective psychiatric rehabilitation practices.
The successful candidate will have a professional work history of clinical support and advocacy for persons with mental illness. Knowledge and experience in the provision of residential rehabilitation services for people in need of 24-hour, 7 day-a-week assistance is preferred and highly desired. The ability to discuss and provide guidance to staff on the development and implementation of habilitative /rehabilitative service practices and the concepts of psychosocial rehabilitation, person-centered planning and recovery is essential. Experience with quality improvement relating to records management and policies is ideal, as is ability to independently make decisions. This position does require an on-call rotation approximately once a month.
Additional requirements include a graduate degree in the Human Services field with Licensure/Certificate as a Qualified Mental Health Professional; LCSW, LCPC, Ph.D., M.D or Psy. D. For purposes of professional documentation, computer proficiency on Microsoft Applications is essential. Experience with PIMSY helpful.
