Reporting to the President, responsible for the financial control and accounting operations, computer network administration of Coastal Hospice
Responsibilities and Functions
Establishes and maintains an accounting and financial system of impeccable quality and compliance
Collaborates with CEO to insure financial control of operations, capital and operating budgets, cash management, and reporting/compliance
Operational expertise using financial, patient accounting systems, Medicare and applicable government agencies reporting requirements
Provides collaborative and accurate internal budget creation, monitoring, reporting, and communications
Insures all internal financial statements and external reports to business partners are on time and accurate
Responsible for risk management of Coastal Hospice's assets
Insures all compliance required by Federal, State, and County regulations and requirements
Directs operations and assures employee engagement and training of accounting staff
Business and thought partner to the CEO/President and Senior Leadership Team
Demonstrates excellent customer service skills for external and internal partners
Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance
CPA certification preferred
Minimum five (5) years experience preferred in similar position (Director level acceptable), preferably in the healthcare field
Excellent communications, leadership and employee development skills a must with all employees
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and experience in financial software
