The Associate Nurse Executive for Community Living Center Nursing (ANE/CLC) has 24/7 responsibility for management of operations including budget, performance improvement, integration of evidence-based practice and recruitment and retention for the Long Term Care areas which is comprised of approximately 200 employees delivering quality care in 1 dementia specialty care unit, 1 sub-acute care unit, 1 geriatric specialty care unit, and 1 acute rehabilitation unit. This position requires an experienced nurse to provide administrative leadership and executive level guidance related to the professional discipline of nursing for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, recreational therapists, and medical support assistants. The ANE/CLC provides service chief level leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of integrated programs that support the organization's mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities. Additionally, the ANE/CLC embraces, supports, and sustains unit level shared governance throughout all areas where professional nursing practice is delivered in the Community Living Center. The ANE/CLC maintains an active role in strategic planning to ensure Service/area viability considering changing populations and complex service needs that have an impact on the health and well-being of the Veteran. The individual selected will report directly to the Deputy Associate Director Patient Care Services. Work Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday with potential for off tours and weekends based on need of the organization.
