Under supervision, the incumbent of this position provides professional nursing care to clinic patients.Works collaboratively with the providers within the team setting to facilitate quality care for the patient.

This individual will be part of the Wound Care/HBO team.
This individual will, under the direction of the Program Director and/or Clinical Director, assist in HBO and Wound Care treatments. The individual will assist in HBO operations during clinical treatment using a monoplane hyperbaric chamber. The individual will take vitals, assist in making the patient comfortable and document treatments in wound care or HBO settings. The individual accepts responsibility and accountability for working within the framework of appropriate regulatory body where it applies and follows the Christus Mother Frances Wound Care Center hospital policies and procedures.
ADDITIONAL POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Hyperbaric Certification preferred at hire
Wound Care Certification preferred at hire
Individual must attend Hyperbaric Medical Team Training course within 6 months of hire.
Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing or vocational nursing.
Previous experience in wound care, med/surg or home health environment preferred.
