As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for various duties related to the fulfillment of prescription orders. Along the way, you’ll discover the training, support and career opportunities you’d expect from a Fortune 6 leader.
Working Schedule: Must be available to work between the hours of 6 am – 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and Sundays from 3 – 11:30 pm (including some Saturdays and holidays). Need to be flexible in a schedule that modifies weekly with less than 35 hours/week.
Dispense any or all of the following: tablets/capsules, unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, and related supplies following state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures
Process, pack and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring drug, related supplies and patient collateral (education materials) are included
Perform drug/supply ordering and inventory/warehouse duties, including proper storage of drugs and supplies and appropriate refrigeration of perishable product, monitor and adjust/calibrate pharmacy equipment, fill dispensing units

High School Diploma/GED or higher
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of New Jersey
1+ year of experience with computers and MS Office products
You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas, In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 lbs. frequently in a warehouse environment
