The Northport VA Medical Center is hiring one, full-time, permanent RN to work in their Long Term Care department along side Nursing Education as a Clinical Coordinator. The RN Clinical Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating educational programs/activities based on assessed learning needs of staff. He/she works collaboratively with unit supervisors in assessing, developing and maintaining staff's competencies to ensure provision of quality nursing care. He/she demonstrates leadership through developing and coordinating programs to improve quality of care and organizational processes.
