Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, Research
The Pharmacy Research Drug Program Clinical Pharmacist Specialist must be a licensed pharmacist who is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients in ambulatory care clinics, inpatient clinical wards/units, and long-term care settings as assigned to meet the needs of the service within the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System (VALLHCS). Duties include, but are not limited to: Program Management Performs patient care activities to include planning and implementation of Clinical Practice Guidelines of drug therapy pertinent to the specialized pharmacy service line, monitoring and follow-up of therapy through appropriate laboratory tests, diagnostic tests and other supportive care modalities. Coordinates and manages utilization of Pharmacy Service resources and operates the Pharmacy
