The New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS) in Albuquerque, NM Department of Pathology is seeking a highly motivated AP/CP board-certified pathologist to serve as the Lead (Chief) of the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS). NMVAHCS provides a broad range of inpatient and outpatient health care services at the main medical center located in Albuquerque, NM and at various community-based outpatient clinics located throughout the state. This position will be responsible for the administrative and technical oversight of diagnostic services provided by the clinical laboratory and will participate in anatomic and clinical service work. Diagnostic services include Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology, Molecular Pathology, and a wide range of Clinical Pathology activities. Applicant
