This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. The Primary Care Physician is responsible for delivery of outpatient primary care to patients enrolled at the South Texas VA Health Care System. The physician and Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) will manage a panel of patients. Together, members of the PACT, take responsibility for the Veteran patient's ongoing care through a cooperative effort among all members. Duties may also include the following: Management of a subsection of primary care patients. Assists with patients of colleagues while other providers are on leave Completing progress notes within 2 4 hours of patient encounter. Maintaining quality of care Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
