The Lung Cancer Screening (LCS) ARNP provides direct patient care in an outpatient and/or inpatient setting to adults with lung cancer risk and serves as a consultant to other providers. The LCS ARNP will conduct shared decision-making encounters and provides clinical guidance to patients and LCS RNs regarding lung nodules, diagnostic pathways, and treatment disposition. The LCS ARNP is knowledgeable about diagnostic pathways including bronchoscopy/EBUS/IR guided biopsy/surgical resection. They will provide clinical oversight to the LCS RNs and serve as the ordering provider for all CT imaging ordered on behalf of the LCS program.
