Physiatrist / Pain Management opportunity with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VAMC) in Montgomery, AL
The Montgomery, AL VAMC is seeking to add a PM&R Pain specialist to join our team. This opportunity offers Student Loan Repayment (Blog – VA Education Debt Repayment Program) and recruitment incentives. This position is located in the Geriatrics & Extended Care Service of the VA Central Alabama Health Care System (CACHS) in Montgomery, AL. The Physiatrist will see patients in consultation from other providers to determine rehabilitation needs and process. The Physiatrist may also perform procedures such as EMG/NCV, trigger point injections, joint injections, botulinum toxin injections, interventional procedures and spinal manipulations as indicated. The Physiatrist is responsible for consultative and clinical care for eligible veterans as it relates to Rehabilitation medicine and the Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program (CIIRP Acute Rehab Inpatient) and clinical inpatient and outpatient evaluations/assessment/treatment, EMGs, therapeutic modalities, and collaboration with other clinical providers
