This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Learn more Subspecialty Medicine Physician - Cardiologist: This position falls under the Primary & Specialty Medicine Service Line at the VA Medical Center in St Cloud, Minnesota and performs duties as a cardiologist in the inpatient and outpatient settings, at the main VA Medical Center or one of the affiliated CBOC's (Community Based Outpatient Clinics). Duties of the position include, but are not limited to the following: Provide consultative services and follow up for inpatient and outpatient patients. Expertise in non-invasive cardiology to include echocardiography On call duty will be assigned as needed, primarily for the coverage of inpatients. Participation in special projects pertinent to assigned sub-specialty may be necessary as the projects become available with strategic or other initiatives.
