The STAT RN utilizes the nursing process to prescribe, delegate, coordinate and provide safe, therapeutic nursing care to patients and their families, makes independent decisions and takes action regarding a wide range of routine and complex patient issues. The incumbent collaborates with appropriate disciplines to coordinate continuity of patient care from admission through discharge in support of the medical and nursing plans of care. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
