First Area of Consideration (AOC) will be given to AFGE bargaining unit employees, Topeka VAMC. Second AOC will be given to permanent employees of EKHCS. Third AOC will be given to the public (U.S. Citizens and U.S. Nationals). To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements at the time of review. If an applicant is found not qualified based on the requirements below they will need to reapply to be considered. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the
