Under the direction and supervision of the Manager of House Supervision, the Hospital Assistants will transport Emergency Room and inpatients safely to and from their exams. The Hospital Assistant will also help all Nursing and Ancillary areas with patient transport needs, as well as assist with other patient care duties within their scope of practice.
Basic phone communication
Customer service skills
Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Willingness to work all shifts
Excellent communication skills and time management skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Current BCLS CPR certification
One (1) year previous experience in an acute hospital center
