The Extended Care Unit at Holy Rosary Healthcare is home to approximately 45 residents with a team of about 40-45 direct reports including RNs and CNAs.  This position will be a member of the HRH Servant Leadership team and will report directly to the President of Holy Rosary Healthcare.

Your day.

As a Long Term Care / Nursing Home Administrator you need to know how to:·       

• Develop and implement business plans necessary to ensure the long term success of the Senior Services business line.


• Possess a thorough understanding of the healthcare environment and keep up to date on industry developments, including the Catholic healthcare ministry.


• Understand healthcare reimbursement issues and the impact the Senior Services business line as well as the organization as a whole.


• Prepare capital budget (incorporating facility strategic plans, environmental modifications, workplace requirements with regard to OSHA, CMS rules and regulations) for all Senior Service Businesses including the ECU.


• Work closely with ECU Director of Nursing to ensure staff competency.


• Assure adequate staffing trends as compared to industry standards and state and federal regulations.


• Establish and implement plans to recruit and retain qualified staff.

Your experience.

• Bachelorâ™s Degree in health care related field, required


• Current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administratorâ™s license with the state of Montana, required


• Minimum of five (5) years healthcare experience, required 


• Masterâ™s Degree, preferred


• Long term care experience, preferred
