Physical Therapist, Outpatient or Home Care – Relocation Available
United Health Services in Upstate New York is hiring full-time Physical Therapists to join our outpatient and home care rehabilitation teams in the Binghamton, New York area. Eligible candidates can receive relocation assistance of $5,000 to move to the Greater Binghamton, Upstate NY area.
United Health Services operates six high-volume outpatient PT offices, one of which is part of the area’s leading comprehensive UHS Orthopedic Center. Home care physical therapy services are also offered to local residents so they can regain strength and safely remain in their own homes.

Physical Therapist Position Overview
- Apply the accepted principles, methods, and procedures of measurement, prediction, and evaluation tests to assess patients’ strengths and limitations
- Establish physical therapy diagnoses, prognosis, and long-term patient goals
- Administer and interpret clinical physical therapy services and adjust treatments according to patients’ responses to planned physical therapy treatment protocol
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, their families, and other staff personnel and provide patient and family education as needed
- Participate in decisions for patient's discharge and make appropriate referrals; interface with vendors to provide needed durable medical equipment
- Document all pertinent patient information relating to the evaluation and treatment program accurate and timely manner
- Assign treatment procedures and supervise the progress of patients assisted by Physical Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapist Technicians, and/or Athletic Trainers

Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited physical therapy program
- Current license or license eligibility to practice as a physical therapist in New York State
- CPR certification within three months of employment
