Nurse Assistants function as a member of the nursing care team and assist licensed nursing staff in the care of patients on the Float Pool Unit. The primary purpose of this position is to perform a wide range of patient care, diagnostic services, treatment, monitoring activities of daily living and charting for the unit. The incumbent provides personal nursing care to patients, and serves as an active, participating member of the health care team. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
