Located at the Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, under the Social Work Service. Functions as part of an interdisciplinary team whose goal is the effective provision of a wide range of health services to patients and their families. With guidance from the social work supervisor, completes assessments for evaluation and for ongoing therapeutic services, evaluation of progress of treatment, evaluation of Veterans functioning in their immediate environment. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
