SUMMARY: The Manager of Home Care Clinical Services is accountable for the clinical operations of the Home Care department. In addition to taking call and performing duties of a homecare nurse, the role will apply clinical and leadership acumen to the management of intake, nursing, respiratory, and medical records in order to ensure excellent patient care and outcome. Managerial responsibilities include supervision and coordination of daily activities in regard to safety, efficacy of patience care, be an active participant in staff recruitment, training, and performance management. The incumbent is responsible for design, implementation, and monitoring of compliance with the standards set by state and federal regulatory agencies as related to home care.
Valley Children's Home Care aims to provide the best, high quality in-home health services to Valley Children's patients and families. Through best practices and innovative use of technology, Home Care provides an array of nursing, respiratory care and infusion services in the homes of children with acute and chronic illnesses. We serve ten counties in Central California and offer cost-effective and convenient programs featuring the latest technology for patients, caregivers and physicians. Each year, we serve more than 2,500 patients in a 45,000 square mile area of Central California.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires: A) Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred and either Bachelors or Masters must be in nursing; B) Active CA Registered Nurse Licensure required; C) Current California Drivers License with an acceptable driving record; D) Car Insurance with at least the minimum limits as required by state law; E) BLS Heart Code within 30 days of hire or transfer into position; F) Minimum 3 years of related experience required and 5 years of increasingly responsible experience which demonstrates proficiency in the skills and knowledge required to perform the job preferred.
