Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Incumbent serves as a Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist performing advanced technical work in the Nuclear Medicine Service. Responsible for independently performing a full range of routine, non-routine, research, therapeutic and in-vitro radionuclide studies in PET/CT, Nuclear Cardiology and General Nuclear Medicine SPECT, dynamic and static imaging as well as developing new protocols and procedures as required. BASIC REQUIREMENTS. The basic requirements for employment as a NMT are prescribed in 38 U.S.C. § 7402(b)(14). To qualify for appointment as a NMT, all applicants must possess the following: Citizenship. Be a citizen of the United States. (Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with chapter 3, section A, paragraph 3.
