Join the Petaluma Valley Hospital's Hospice Program as a full-time Hospice physician and help serve a patient population in need throughout Sonoma County in northern California. This is a highly flexible, in-home care role where you travel to various patient homes while having the freedom to create your own schedule for each day. While this is largely an autonomous role, you will be part of a supportive multidisciplined group that's highly collaborative. Where You'll Work

Providence Hospice of Sonoma County is one of the oldest hospice programs in the country, providing individualized and compassionate care to patients and families throughout the area. This well-established group collaborates closely with Providence Palliative Care as well as partners with local hospitals, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and board and care facilities in order to provide full-spectrum care services to some of the most medically complex and vulnerable patients in the county.

Petaluma is 40 miles north of San Francisco just off the Highway 101 corridor. The portal to Sonoma County, Petaluma is a small, 60,000-resident town with a big personality.
