The Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL)/Nurse Educator functions as a clinical leader/Nurse Educator and a member of the interdisciplinary health care team promoting safe, quality care. The CNL/Nurse Educator possesses a strong core knowledge in nursing and is accountable for evaluation of unit quality data and utilizing evidence-based practice to lead and guide staff in quality improvement initiatives.
