The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Hospice Care
The role you’ll contribute:
The Cook is responsible for preparing meals for the Inpatient Unit patients/family members/guests and Hospice of the Comforter staff (as needed) to include the planning, preparation and serving of food. The Cook is also responsible for kitchen maintenance, cleanliness, ordering appropriate supplies and sanitation of materials in order to ensure the safety of patients and staff members.

Provides meals and individual food items to patients, family and staff on a daily basis
Ensures the safety of patients and staff by following guidelines and regulations for food preparation.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
Performs all other duties as deemed necessary by the Manager ofFacilities & Materials Management or designee.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
High school diploma or GED is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted at the discretion of the Administrator.
A minimum of 2 years food handling experience is required
