The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN): Nursing Education & Research Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit, is an expert clinician in a specialized area of nursing practice. The specialty may be identified in terms of a population, setting, or medical subspecialty. The CNS assesses plans, implements, and evaluates the total health care of a specialized patient population in a clinical specialty area. Applicants pending the completion of educational, or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
