The Occupational Health RN functions as an member of OHS under the Chief of Occupational Health and Chief of Operations, along with the OHS staff, the Director's Office, Labor Relations, Human Resources, Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygienist, Hospital Infection Prevention and Control, Interior Design, Occupational Therapy, Office of Workers' Compensation staff and other healthcare professions in assessing, planning, implementation and evaluation for the health and safety of employees. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
