The RN (Cancer Care Coordinator) will act as the point of contact for patients with cancer who are under the direct care of the specialists. They coordinate and expedite care from abnormal imaging to definitive treatment. The RN works closely with numerous disciplines in an effort to assure patients avoid missed opportunities in their healthcare. This position will primarily work with Veterans diagnosed with head and neck cancer, breast cancer, melanoma, GYN cancers, and sarcomas. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
