VISN 23 Mental Health Programs are equally as diverse as the Network; with basic and specialty mental health services provided at all access points through a combination of VA, non-VA, Dept of Defense (DoD), and telemental health resources. The goal of VISN 23 mental health priorities is to improve access and capacity by filling gaps in mental health clinical services, as well as elevate all mental health services to state-of-the-art practices based on evidence-based knowledge and research.
