Nursing Assistant- (Spinal Cord Injury Inpatient, Polytrauma/Critical Rehab Center)
The Rehabilitation Nursing Service Nursing Assistant (NA) is a key member of the nursing and rehabilitation treatment team. The role of the NA is to provide basic patient care that supports patient's activities of daily living, hygiene, and nutrition as well as those tasks that support professional nursing. In addition, the NA will also assist, as assigned, in observation of stable post-operative patients and complex medical patients requiring additional observation. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
