The position is located in the Community Living Center (CLC), Inpatient Geriatrics Services of the Office of Chief Nurse Executive located at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) in North Chicago, Illinois. The Nursing Assistant works in the Community Living Center area and functions as an integral member of the Interdisciplinary Medical Team to provide healthcare which maximizes the quality of life for our elders. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. May qualify based on being covered by the Grandfathering Provision as described in the VA Qualification Standard for this occupation (only applicable to current VHA employee
