The Nurse Practitioner (NP) possesses a high degree of knowledge, skill, and competence in acute and chronic disease management. The NP provides leadership in the application of the nursing process to client care, organizational processes, and/or system to improve outcomes at the program, service, or organizational level. The NP is adept at interpersonal skills, working closely with all members of the interdisciplinary team and leading these treatment teams as assigned.
