The Licensed Practical Nurse position is located within the Nursing Service of the Atlanta VA Health Care System. The VA Homemaker/Home Health Aide Program is designed to assist Veterans in maintaining their health and well-being and to stay in their homes without the need for early nursing home placement. This program offers in-home health aides who assist qualified enrolled Veterans with their personal care and support needs. VA provides this service using approved home health agencies. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
