The LPN is expected to exercise technical judgment independently and requires minimal or no guidance and direction. Completed work generally needs little review by a registered nurse for technical soundness, appropriateness and conformity to policy and accepted nursing standards. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
