Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine: The Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) is seeking candidates at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our team of diverse clinicians and researchers. The position will support the operations of the Palliative Care Program which includes, providing care to patients, supervising, and training medical students, residents, and fellows. In addition, the candidate will be expected to participate in scholarly activities in education, program development, quality improvement, and research.
Position Requirements:
MD or DO degree.
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in primary specialty.
Palliative Medicine Fellowship training or comparable experience.
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Fellowships completed in Palliative and/or Hospice Care.
Ability to obtain an unrestricted Texas state medical license.
