Perform CT procedures including but not limited to the administration of IV or oral contrast, protocol setup, patient positioning, reconstruction and filming of images, network image transfers, and archiving image data as indicated while concurrently achieving a high level of
Escort patient to treatment room, assisting with dressings as necessary. Complete all required paperwork to ensure timely delivery of CT services.
Process routine
Partner with physicians assessing the need for additional or modified
Provide protection for patient and self in accordance with prescribed safety
Ensure and prioritize the safety and physical comfort of the patient while in the care of the
Arrange for the release of films to patients and/or outside
Application and understanding of the contraindications associated with the administration of IV contrast and recognizing adverse reactions and proper protocols to follow in the event of an adverse reaction.
Provide protection for patients and staff in accordance with prescribed safety
Conduct daily quality control measures to monitor scanner performance and take appropriate action if indicated.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited
Three (3) years of experience as a CT Technologist
Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist thru ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) is required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or the ability to obtain certification within three (3) months of hire.
