The Women's Mental Health Nurse Care Manager practices as an RN on the Women's Mental Health Specialty team with the Mental Health Division (MHD). The Women's Mental Health Specialty Team is a subspecialty team of mental health clinicians who provide evaluation, consultation and treatment in specific high priority focus areas for women-identified and gender diverse Veterans across the Portland VA. The RN provides evidence based mental health nursing care to Veterans being seen in this program. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
