The Utilization Management (UM) Nurse is responsible for assessing the admission and continued stay for billable and non-billable inpatient cases, screening for outpatient services and case management. Then UM nurse is accountable for complete data collection as it relates to these responsibilities. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
