OpportunityHighlights:
Joining an established Pediatric Immunology program led by Natalia Chaimowitz, MD, PhD and includes an interdisciplinary team; dedicated Pediatric Immunology NP, RN, and MA, as well as dedicated insurance specialist. A social worker, child life specialist, and pharmacists are shared with the Infectious Disease clinic.
The program covers a wide spectrum of immunological diseases, caring for both inpatients and outpatients. The successful candidate will have experience in the clinical care of children with immunological disorders and experience with genetic testing for inborn errors of immunity and laboratory evaluation of immune disorders is strongly welcomed.
Candidates must be BE/BC in Pediatrics and BE/BC in Pediatric Allergy & Immunology and eligible to secure an unrestricted Texas Medical License.
Opportunities available, but not required, to teach medical students and residents as well as pursue clinical research with support including campus IRB, grant writing, research nurses, and a dedicated PhD statistician.
Qualified candidates may participate in the fellow’s retention program that will provide a monthly stipend of $2,500 from employment through the start of practice with Cook Children’s.
