Greater Los Angeles Medical Center in Los Angeles CA is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologists to join our dynamic team.
Work Schedule: Compressed Scheduled | 4 days, 7:00am – 5:30pm
Scope of Practice:
Perform clinical consultation and offer evaluation and treatment recommendations to referring providers and patients in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
Perform the full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures to include: Peripheral artery endovascular therapies, Interventional oncology (Y90, ablation, etc.), dialysis access and maintenance, embolization procedures, GI/ hepatobiliary interventions, GU interventions, biopsies, drainages, etc.
Supervise and teach fellows, residents and medical students who are rotating on the Radiology Service.
Participate in interdisciplinary conferences (vascular conference, tumor board, etc.).
Opportunities are available to collaborate or develop a research program in a relevant area of Interventional Radiology that will provide benefit to Veterans’ healthcare needs.

Experience:
The candidate should be board-certified in Radiology and Board Certified/Eligible for Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Interventional Radiology.
The candidate should be capable of performing clinical consultation and care surrounding IR procedures, the full spectrum of IR procedures, and interpretation of magnetic resonance angiography and CT angiography is a must.
The candidate should be motivated to train residents and fellows by providing both formal didactic teaching and daily clinical training.
The candidate will have the option to obtain a university academic appointment and opportunities are available to collaborate or develop an independent line of research.
