Greater Los Angeles Medical Center in Los Angeles CA is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologists to join our dynamic team.

Work Schedule: Compressed Scheduled | 4 days, 7:00am – 5:30pm

Scope of Practice:

• Perform clinical consultation and offer evaluation and treatment recommendations to referring providers and patients in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
• Perform the full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures to include: Peripheral artery endovascular therapies, Interventional oncology (Y90, ablation, etc.), dialysis access and maintenance, embolization procedures, GI/ hepatobiliary interventions, GU interventions, biopsies, drainages, etc.
• Interpret non-invasive vascular imaging (CTA, MRA, etc.).
• Supervise and teach fellows, residents and medical students who are rotating on the Radiology Service.
• Participate in interdisciplinary conferences (vascular conference, tumor board, etc.).
• Opportunities are available to collaborate or develop a research program in a relevant area of Interventional Radiology that will provide benefit to Veterans’ healthcare needs.

Experience:

• The candidate should be board-certified in Radiology and Board Certified/Eligible for Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Interventional Radiology.
• The candidate should be capable of performing clinical consultation and care surrounding IR procedures, the full spectrum of IR procedures, and interpretation of magnetic resonance angiography and CT angiography is a must.
• The candidate should be motivated to train residents and fellows by providing both formal didactic teaching and daily clinical training.
• The candidate will have the option to obtain a university academic appointment and opportunities are available to collaborate or develop an independent line of research.
