Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 500+ provider multispecialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for a Family Practitioner (FP) with an option for obstetrics (MD/DO) to join a robust clinic-based practice; if desired, endoscopy privileges are available. 

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group-Elm (SAMG-Elm) is dedicated to providing services for a full spectrum of family practice patients. This busy multi-specialty clinic employs family medicine, pediatric, occupational medicine and urgent care providers. SAMG-Elm is conveniently located adjacent to HCA&174; West Valley Medical Center.

Full time practitioners can expect 34 patient contact hours/week. Practice call is shared with other eligible FM providers (approximately 1:18). 

The ideal candidate will:

• Possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Have successfully completed an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program
• Be Board Certified through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) (or will obtain such certification within 3 years of employment)
• Be eligible to obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases including valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy and DEA
