Role functions include management of human, fiscal, material, support and systems resources while achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department's daily operations. Demonstrates a high level of integrity, willingness to take on new challenges and prioritizes associate engagement. Supports associate development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education. Overall/ Daily tasks include:Oversight to daily operations in the departmentOversight of operational efficiencies such as on-time starts and turnoversDevelopment of staff member to practice at the top of their license by providing growth opportunitiesSupporting staff to have the correct tools and resources to complete their job rolesSupport positive growth in service linesWhat You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: * 3 years RN experience, required* 1-year clinical leadership experience, required* Previous OR Experience required * Must be able to scrub and/or circulate across multiple services * High School GED required* A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN), required* Masters Degree preferred * RN License to practice in Colorado or Kansas as applicable* BLS through the American Heart Association* Must sit for appropriate board certification within six months of hire or transfer into the role.
