Position Summary: The RN Home Health provides and directs the provision of home nursing care, based on policies and procedures, through the competent application of the nursing process in accordance with the Registered Nurse Practice Act, State and Federal Regulations. The RN uses critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding client care. The RN assigns the performance of selected client care to competent individuals in selected situations. The RN assigns tasks and retains the responsibility and accountability for the care and coordination of care for the client. Acting as the client advocate, the RN has continuous regular contacts with physician, clients, family, caregivers, community agencies, and others involved in the clients care.
Minimum Requirements: Medical, surgical, oncology, or skilled nursing preferred Home Health experience preferred
