St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking an additional General Surgeon for its established surgery practice based at St. Peter's Hospital located in Albany, New York.

The selected candidate will join an established, high-quality, General Surgery Group at a community-based, tertiary care hospital in Albany.

As an employed surgeon of a large, physician-run multi-specialty group, your spectrum of practice will include elective and acute care general surgery. You will join two HPB, one MIS, one Endocrine, and one General surgeon. The team is supported by a dedicated team of specialty-trained inpatient surgical PAs and an NP in the office.

We are seeking a motivated, hard-working individual focused on quality improvement and care optimization that can function as a member of a dynamic care team. Open, laparoscopic and robotics experience required. Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.

Call is 1:6 for the group. Dedicated OR and Robotic block time will be allocated. The hospital has 5 Davinci robotic systems available. The practice has established relationships with the group's primary care physicians and hospitalists.

Applicants should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery. Training and/or experience in minimally invasive surgery is required and robotics training/certification is a plus.
