Position Summary: The After Hours RN is an independent position responsible for providing healthcare triage, assessment and direct nursing care as assigned or indicated in a home care setting after normally scheduled office hours. This autonomous position requires a high level of professional maturity and critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care that includes knowledge and integration of relevant standards, resources and data.
Minimum Requirements: Three years in one or combination of three years in these nursing areas: medical/surgical, emergency or oncology One year Home Health or Hospice experience preferred
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within three years from the initial date of hire Licensed in the State of Washington as a Registered Nurse Current CPR Certification National Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing preferred
