A laboratory professional responsible for performance of all levels of general testing within the analytical laboratory. The Medical Tech provides a high level of technical knowledge and application of that knowledge to department testing and clinical relevance. While in this position we ask that you feel comfortable consistently functioning in a self-directed manner and exhibits complex problem solving skills.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: * 1 year related work experience preferred* Associate's Degree required* Bachelor's Degree preferred* MLS with ASCP certification, or MT/MLT with ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification, or specialty ASCP certification in the assigned department required within 6 months of hirePhysical Requirements-Light work - (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs frequently).
