Overview
Atlantic Health System is Seeking an Associate CMO for our Western Region
Atlantic Health System (AHS) is seeking a physician to lead as Associate Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in our western region, which includes Hackettstown Medical Center and Newton Medical Center. This role will serve as the Chief Medical Officer's deputy and will represent the CMO office in a range of leadership committees, projects, and operational meetings. The role includes an expectation to remain clinically active at 80% and maintain a high level of clinical credibility with the hospital.
In addition to providing leadership and expertise, the Associate CMO will play an important role in the development and execution of succession planning that will support the accomplishment of goals of AHS across the enterprise. They will provide clinical leadership, expertise, and perspective to the leadership team as well as the medical staff and other team members across the organization.
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience since residency or fellowship and showing experience in leadership through committees or special projects
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification in his/her specialty area
- Business degree or equivalent experience preferred
- All candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
