Shift: Day Shift
Location: This is a fieldwork (Home Health) position
The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Home Care
The role you’ll contribute:
Nurse’s aide assisting in the provision of personal care to patients in their home.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Provides personal care per Home Health Aide Care Plan.
Demonstrates understanding of duties for special assignments, including Developmental Disabilities program patients, Alzheimer’s’ patients, sitter staffing at hospital, End of Life Care.
Assesses vital signs as ordered; observation of patient
Compliant with infection prevention practices.
Transfers patients of varying sizes from bed using proper body mechanics and safety equipment as needed.
Provides accurate, complete documentation within 24 hours, reporting abnormal findings to SN by end of shift.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Graduate of Home Health Aide Certification Course or Certified Nursing Assistant Course
Home Health Aide certification or Certified Nursing Assistant.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
