Registered Nurse (RN) - Stroke Treatment & Recovery (STAR)

FT -12-Hour Day/Morning Shift (Hours: 7a-7p/7p-7a) Weekends and holidays requirements.

We are looking to hire an experienced RN to support our Stroke Treatment & Recovery (STAR) Unit in our Christiana hospital in Newark, DE.

• 29 Bed Unit
• Nurse to patient ratio is one nurse to 3-5 patients
• The unit will take Stroke and Medical patients.

Education & Requirements

• RN License required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing;
• BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of hire.
• BLS Certification is required.
• ACLS Certification preferred (required within 6 months of hire)
• One year of experience working as a Registered Nurse is required.
• One year experience in acute care, stroke, and/or neuro areas preferred.

The successful candidate may be eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus to be paid over a period of 12 months.
